In the ladies race Tracey Huish emerged from the drink first and managed to maintain her lead through the bike leg.
Thanks to the fastest ladies bike split Powie managed to move up to second on the cycle before establishing a one minute lead on the run.
Strong performances from Michelle O’Dea and Becky Francis saw them rewarded for their hard work when they also caught Huish on the run to take second and third respectively.
Phil Labey, Ali Cann and Craig Meredith won the team event.
